this plugin/program isn't becasue you are accepting that they can view you, and most people get recorded by CCTV at least once in their life so yeah using some twisted logic......

What would be good is if i could still broadcast my webcam to my webspace and msn messenger at the same time. I know there is a program that can take a picture set it as my DP then delete ALL my DP's then add a new webcam pic. HOWEVER it is not at all StuffPlug NG friendly with the SPNG pop up asking if you'd like to keep the original size yes/no every x seconds. This would be a cool plugin aswell btw

if you accept to chat with someone, and they log your chat, is that illegal too then?

As long as one of the two participants knows the conversation is being recorded in some way, that apparently makes it legal

i think the only way that the webcam log isn't in the messenger is because it would take more tme of the programing and the relasion would be delayed and they only put the chat log and leave the program to be made by others one and available to be functional with the webcam log, so, SOMEONE make it, it isn't ilegal, it's fine, and everybody in your contac's list are, minimun friends of yours if not there wouldn't be in there

How is this illegal? Where's the law that forbids it?

It would be an extremely complex plugin, but I like the idea.

As for the privacy issue "they don't know I am recording", ... who stops you to use video capture soft, take screenshots or shoot it with a digital or video camera?

If you allow someone to read/listen/view you, you know they will be able to do whatever they want with that. (Otherwise why doesn't MSN Messenger or Plus alert WE ARE LOGGING YOUR CONVOS!!! to other contacts?

Maybe so because it would have to detect when the webcam is on and capture the area the webcam is in but in the long run the dev that creates it will have the glorifing feeling that everyone will love his plugin (at least thats what the votes are saying.)

then, on webcam i actually show you my illegal stuff (not that i have any.) Thats not the same, logging of chats is just a conversation, and then you get on webcam, people show their bootys on webcam, and you record it and sell it to some porn site ( ) THats totally different. Sorry if this sint clear, but i couldnt put all my thoughts down into this.

oh, and since this is an "official" petition, i kinda wanna know why this plugin is SOOOOOOO needed.

well marissa that could be a situation but what if i have a girlfriend that for sometime she has to move out to another country and she only use the internet a few hours like in tow weeks, if i record thewebcam i can be like with her and not feeling so apart but then if i couldn't record her it would be good to look at her but when she has to go is no more for few times.

theres programs that do it. THATS WHAT I DONT GET! you people want a plugin for something thats already out there! like i said before somewhere [or in this thread] that everything doesnt have to be made attached to msn! People make programs for many purposes, the world doesnt revolve around msn messenger!
