Say hello to Windows Messenger, which has been here for a while. You can't have everything, but Windows Messenger should suffice.

Yet more reasons why I don't use MSN Messenger 8, too many damn useless features, I just wanna IM with people, not annoy them to their death.

I hope this means that MSN Messenger integrates with Outlook Express in Win XP. As it is now MSN Messenger do integrate with OE in Win98, and Windows Messenger integrate with OE in WinXP.

id expect msn 8 to come out next may so its miles off yet. but the feature list looks good anything from that would be good.
