The thing is there are many programs that can record webcam video already. So it is not like you cannot do that already.

Well ..... i suggest that create a plugin which don't records the video conversation ... make a plugin in which we can hijack others webcam & see their webcams without their permissions ..

for those that say that it shouldnt be done cause there're already software that does it... i ask you why ppl use bikes, cars, and trains? if u can walk, why bother the engeneers to build something faster and easier to work with?

if u're afraid of loosing pravacy, i wonder why u use msn messenger at all, since it logs what u say!!! runn!!

Because its a plugin in MSN Messenger no external stuff and no paying for it either. You said it would be creepy then is it creepy that chat logs exist? Is it creepy that the "Prt Scr" key exists?

The toppost was posted more then a month ago and this thread has been one of the top threads since then (because of the many bumps ). But the actual request for saving the webcam in MSN Messenger is very old (think in terms of years!).

By now, some plugin developer already have seen this and if interested he/she would have made the plugin. Every plugin developer knows about this request already.

This plugin is far from easy to make, as said multiple times already, and is almost out of scope of most plugin developers.

It is of no use to keep requesting this and bumping this thread.

So, sorry to burst the bubble, but it is NOT going to be made.

If you want it that bad, then either learn how to program and make it yourself or use some of the tools listed here:
"Capturing WebCam Video in MSN Messenger 6.x"

I would suggest that seomthing like a webcam invitation be added. Example:

Something like this would be useful since that way people who don't want to be recorded won't, but the people who don't mind will.
