Xbox Premium = £99 (preowned, gamestation)
Xbox Live 13 months = £24 (ebay)
Total = £123
Playstation 3 = £300, new. £240 preowned.
So how did I pay more for the 360?

Im sure you can find a cheaper pre order if you really wanted to, i mean, how can one thing be $99, and the other having such a high rate? Im saying, if you really wanted to, you can find it cheaper!
BUT, its not my choice, and your loss, ill feel bad for you when socom confrontation and metal gear solid come out.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
Both consoles are pretty equal when it comes to gaming. Some games look better on the PS3 and some look better on the Xbox. The thing I like about the PS3 is you can run Linux on it and the thing I like about the Xbox is it has an awesome online community.
There is only 1 thing stopping me from getting a PS3 and that's Banjo Kazooie  Banjo Kazooie owns both your "socom confrontation and metal gear solid" twice over. I still remember being the first person in my street to pass it then everyone else wanted me over their house so I could help them pass it to.
